Lalita Dixit has spent over 15 years working at the intersection of technology and Human Resources, helping bridge the gap between people and systems. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside employees, managers, and senior leaders across a variety of industries, giving her a unique perspective on how leadership decisions shape the employee experience.
Her fascination with leadership—and the ripple effects of the decisions leaders make—ultimately inspired her to write I Am Not a Leader But... Through the CLEAR framework, Lalita explores the leadership gaps that often go unnoticed and the impact they have on organizational culture, employee engagement, productivity, and trust.
Based in Toronto, Ontario, Lalita combines professional insight with personal storytelling to challenge traditional assumptions about leadership and advocate for greater accountability in the workplace. Drawing from over three decades in the workforce, she believes that leadership is not defined by title alone, but by the influence people have on those around them.
When she is not working, writing, or speaking about leadership, Lalita enjoys spending time with family and friends, cycling, dragon boating, and continually learning about what it means to lead without a title.
